VariPhaseTM series of Single-Phase
AC Induction Motor Controls targeted at networked fan systems and Single-Phase AC motor systems
requiring precise speed regulation (closed loop control). The
VariPhaseTM series combines intelligent
speed control with the industry standard MODBUS® networking, providing easy to access/control
of groups of fans and other AC motor driven systems. The AirCare
VariPhaseTM Series is available in 115V,
230V and 277V providing up to 4 Amperes output current ratings. Applications include
Fan Filter Unit controls for small to medium size Cleanrooms, as well as, Heat & Energy Recovery
Ventilators and Light Commercial heating & cooling systems. Product is available today.
Unique to AirCare VariPhaseTM is
a level of sophistication, until now, unavailable for Single-phase AC motor systems. These include:
- Network communications built-in
- 3-Wire operation option to reduce motor heating peak current drain
- P-I-D sophisticated closed loop control
- Linear input control to RPM speed to reduce traditional TRIAC control sensitivity
- Individually addressed units and ease of configuration
